Nintendo Wii Game Problems?

Ive had a wii game for about 5 months so its not old
Im putting the disc in right
But it says the wii is unable to read the disc
My other games work so its the game thats not working
There are tiny little scratches but no big ones
Is that the problem??

    the disc probably should not have scratches, or little ones, try to use spray to wipe them off.

    make a paste of water and baking soda dont rub it on but put it on the disk(shiny side) wait 3 min wipe off carefully clean it then try
