 Back in the Nintendo early days one of the coolest games you could get was Punch Out. I spent many a day punching fat guys in the gut and learning all the tricks it took to beat the fighters. Punch Out is coming to the Nintendo Wii and a launch date has been announced.

The launch date for the UK is May 22, not too far from now. I wonder if the old tricks for the SNES version will work on the Wii copy. The new game has revamped graphics and more.

The controls have also been reworked using the motion controls the Wii is famous for. I wonder if the game will be as tiring to play as Wii Sports Boxing. The controls also allow users to flip the remote on its side for a faux gamepad control.
